I think art is anything you want it to be. Isn’t the real purpose of art to inspire, invoke, and effect?
The best thing about Duchamp is that he validated the idea that anything we think is wonderful is “art”. No longer does education or skill play a part in the visual stimulation that art can be inherently. Werd to Marcel!
Art is an Expression, the material used, is irreverent, whether it be music, dance, paint, digital, etc. Art is, as someone said before, what you make it. Art is a very very general word and can be used to many many ways.
