Before you enter the contest, we have to tell you that by submitting your design/artwork…
You grant the Denver Art Museum license to:
- Reproduce said design/art in print, electronic, and other media
- Use the design/art for promotional and advertising purposes
- Modify your submission without prior or additional consent, in order to comply with sizing, transmission, distribution, and logo/sponsor standards
- Use your name in connection with the design/art being submitted
You also agree that the Denver Art Museum reserves the right to:
- Reject any submission without showing cause
- Extend the contest submission deadline
You also warrant that the design/art being submitted:
- Is an original image created by you (Seriously, don’t go stealing images from the web. Make it your own!)
- Does not violate any copyrights
- Is not subject to any third-party intellectual property rights
Finally, you understand that:
- Museum staff and volunteers, along with their immediate family members living in the same household, are not eligible to win the contest.
- You may use the design for personal educational/professional development, but it cannot appear in any formal marketing materials without the exclusive written permission of the Denver Art Museum.
